CARE & SUPPORT

Creating a supportive environment

We offer our students an optimised learning environment by creating a familial atmosphere. Learning should take place naturally as part of a child's wider interests and life experiences. We support and promote children's progression in a targeted manner and discuss their progress with them and their parents. Children should be able to grow as a result of successful experiences and thereby reach their full potential. Our teachers model different learning styles and methods through their teaching, in order to allow each child to individually develop their own study skills.

By keeping class sizes small, students' individual needs can be addressed during lesson time. When required, additional support and support teaching is used.

The Parents' Club

The Parents’ Club at Four Forest plays a vital role in fostering community engagement and supporting the success of children. By organising events such as family gatherings, cultural celebrations, and welcome activities for new families, the Parents' Club strengthens the bonds within our community.

The club also supports with fundraising efforts for the newly established Four Forest charity, while actively supporting important school initiatives like Be Well Day and anti-bullying campaigns. Open to all parents, the Parents' Club welcomes volunteers to contribute to various school events and classroom activities. The club works closely with school leadership to ensure that every effort is aligned with the needs of the community.

A modern and family-friendly day school

We offer our parents a modern and family-friendly day school. This begins with supervision before lessons begin in the morning from 7.30am. Children stay in school and are supervised over lunchtime and after school.

There is a wide range of activities and courses within the framework of the after-school club, which is open until 6.00pm. From Grade 1, homework can also be done during this time in the homework club.

We are very happy with the quality of teaching, the attention to play and respect of self and others, the classrooms and school facilities, and the amazing staff.

We warmly welcome families throughout the year, offering tailored personal tours on a day that suits you, including school holidays.

After School Care

After school, children can attend the supervised after school club in our school and spend time reading and playing. The after school club is offered on all days from Monday to Friday directly after school, with various pick-up times.

In addition to the after school club, we offer our students a whole range of club activities to supplement and balance their school lessons. The clubs are made up of sporting, musical and creative activities, which can be booked upon enrolment.

Participating in co-curricular activities after school further enhances SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) learning by providing students with opportunities to practice these skills in real-world settings. Activities like sports, arts, and clubs encourage teamwork, empathy, and resilience, reinforcing the principles taught in SEL programs.

By engaging in these activities, students not only have fun and make new friends but also learn to navigate social situations, manage stress, and set and achieve goals. This holistic approach to education ensures that students are well-prepared for future challenges both academically and personally.

The costs for the after school club and extra-curricular activities are not included in the school fees.
