The path to success
The schools of the Four Forest Group offer students from Preschool through Primary and Secondary levels a comprehensive education under one roof.
Following Swiss Curriculum 21, and incorporating the British National Curriculum when teaching the English language, our students develop fluency in both languages, within the framework of a well-rounded education.

Care and Support
Learning should take place naturally as part of a child`s wider interests and life experiences. We support and promote children's progression in a targeted manner and discuss their progress with them and their parents.
Keeping pupils on track
Our team consists of highly qualified, motivated staff members who are passionate about supporting and developing our students, and committed to carefully monitoring their progress throughout their school journey.
Reach your full potential
Our teachers model different learning styles and methods through their teaching, in order to allow each child to individually develop their own study skills.
Small class learning
By keeping class sizes small, students' individual needs can be addressed during lesson time. When required, additional support and support teaching is used.
CURRICULUM
A rich, diverse bilingual education
Four Forest offers high-quality bilingual education using a curriculum tailored to the cantons of Lucerne and Zug and elements of the British National Curriculum. Students are immersed in either English or German on a weekly basis, with lessons taught by teachers in their native language or a language in which they are fluent. This immersive method allows students to naturally acquire language through play, singing, and gestures, making the process intuitive.
Early immersion yields faster, more effective language mastery and enhances confidence. After several years, students' second language proficiency nearly matches their mother tongue.
At Four Forest, students learn English and German immersively, even if their native language is different.
Join us for a Personal Tour
We warmly welcome families throughout the year, offering tailored personal tours on a day that suits you, including school holidays.
An enriching and rewarding school community
Our schools organise regular class and whole school events and activities such as sports days, autumn camps, ski days or celebrations of annual festivals throughout the year. As a result, children experience how, whether old or young, we can learn from each other.
At the same time students learn, through taking part in class council, how different opinions and positions can be represented in a discussion. Through our diverse and lively school community, our students should learn and, more importantly, experience respect, tolerance and openness.

Frequently Asked Questions
At Four Forest, academic excellence is nurtured through a supportive, bilingual environment that encourages curiosity, perseverance, and a love of learning. Below you’ll find answers to common questions about progression, assessments, and how we guide each student on their individual learning path.
After Grade 6, students can continue on to our Secondary School in Zug, transition to a Swiss Gymnasium (depending on grades) or Secondary I program, or follow an international pathway such as the IB or A-Levels.
In Kanton Zug, students in Grade 6 of primary school may enter a state Gymnasium without an entrance exam, provided there is a joint recommendation of the class teacher and parents. However, there is currently a legislative proposal under consultation to introduce a test for entry into the six-year Gymnasium from primary school in Zug. For Kanton Luzern, there is likewise no standard entrance examination for direct entry from primary school to Gymnasium.
The discussion begins in Grade 4 in close collaboration with parents. A student’s grades from the second semester of Grade 5 and the first semester of Grade 6 are reviewed. To qualify for Gymnasium, students typically need an average grade of at least 5.2 (out of 6) in Mathematics, German, and NMG. Teachers also provide a recommendation, taking social and emotional development into account. Based on results, students are then allocated to Gymnasium, Secondary A, Secondary B, or Realschule.
Formal parent–teacher meetings take place twice per year.
Students receive a school report twice per year, following the parent–teacher meetings.
